Brandon police followed a trail of debris to locate a drunk driver early Sunday morning. Police received reports that a vehicle was spinning out of control and had collided with two parked vehicles on the 1000 block of 26th Street. Police followed a debris trail and located a vehicle in the south end of Brandon. A 21-year-old man was arrested and police said when he gave breath samples they were almost twice the legal alcohol limit. The man was charged with impaired driving, operating a vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident.
