According to Yartey, the Bridge Maintenance Unit of the Ghana Highway Authority immediately carried out an emergency technical inspection after the crash. “The estimate for the repair of the bridge has been put at around GH¢2.5 million, and the culprit is going to fully fund the repair works. Many are urging authorities to act swiftly to prevent a potential tragedy while repair works are being carried out.
