Train delays due to overhead electric wire damage between Slough and London Paddington


Update: 12.15pmGreat Western Railway has warned passengers of train delays this afternoon (December 10). Damage to the overhead electric wires between Slough and London Paddington left some lines blocked this morning but following a safety inspection of the track, all lines have now reopened. Train services running to and from Slough and London Paddington are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled, delayed or revised until 2pm. Customers have been advised to use their GWR rail tickets on the following:Chiltern Railway services between London Marylebone and Oxford. Overrunning engineering works also disrupt South Western Railway services which is running a planned road transport operation between Ascot and Hounslow.
