A fight between a couple turned tragic when the man turned from beating up his wife to killing his neighbour in Trans Mara West, Narok county. Trans Mara West OCPD Alfred Muthua said Samuel Cheruiyot got enraged when neighbour Richard Rotich tried to stop him from beating his wife. Muthua said the 55-year old struck Rotich with an arrow leading to his death at the scene of the Monday incident. The OCPD said the assailant then locked himself up in his grass-thatched house, forcing members of the public to set it on fire. Residents beat him to death," said a neighbour.
