"That being said, this is still one of the highest spending transfer windows we have ever seen. We are still seeing an awful lot of transfers. Not just in the Premier League, not just in the Championship - all across the globe the number of transfer is continuing to rise. "The Premier League will regularly spend the most amount of money out of any league in the world and it will stimulate lots of other transfers we see afterwards.
