Looking ahead, he said the targets of between 45 million and 47 million visitors for Visit Malaysia 2026 are within reach, provided the industry works together. He also emphasised the importance of strengthening trust and confidence within the travel industry. He said this aligns with Visit Johor 2026, which is targeting some 12 million visitors to the state during the year-long campaign.
