Vincent LaPointe landed at Calgary International Airport Tuesday evening, on the first flight returning from Puerto Vallarta to Calgary since the violent unrest began over the weekend. “It's hard to even explain what it was really like because I've never been through anything like that in my life before.”Vincent LaPointe arrived in Calgary from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Tuesday evening. On the way to Puerto Vallarta International Airport Tuesday morning, LePointe said he saw several burnt-out cars and buses along with a big military presence in the streets. The first of four WestJet flights to leave from Puerto Vallarta on Tuesday destined for Calgary landed just after 7:30 p.m. MT. Calgarian Montana Dunn saw fires on the street while out in Puerto Vallarta on Sunday when the unrest began.
