The incident took place at Sonargaon’s Charhogla area on Sunday evening. The officials were returning from Sonargaon after carrying out their duties during the fourth phase of Upazila Parishad Election held on Sunday. Confirming the matter, Munshiganj police station OC Alamgir Hussain said: “Fifteen people have been rescued so far. Two are still missing.”The missing people were identified as Borhan Uddin and police's ATSI Md Selim.
