Trefoil Park in Kaikohe has become home to a family who is determined to reopen the site to the community. BAYLEY MOOR/STUFF The swing bridge is one of several unique aspects to Trefoil Park. Ives hopes to have the park ready to take visitors after Christmas with ideas for the future of Trefoil Park including holding workshops on how to develop wetland areas with the Northland Regional Council, bike tracks, a cafe and vegetable gardens. Trefoil Park is also providing a special home-schooling environment for Milly, 7, Gracie-Mae, 5, and Lexi-Rose, 2, and trained teacher Ives.
