Trial for Kalindi Kunj-Noida metro to begin by Oct

The Kalindi Kunj to Botanic Garden Metro corridor is also part of the same project. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said on Thursday that work on the 3.5-km Kalindi Kunj to Botanic Garden Metro link is almost complete and its trial is expected to begin by mid-October. Noida’s Botanic Garden would become the largest interchange outside Delhi once this link is made operational. “After trial, the DMRC takes two to three months to conduct technical inspections on the line. On Thursday, the DMRC also started trial on the 9.5-km Okhla Vihar to Kalkaji Temple stretch in Delhi, which is part of the 37-km link from Delhi’s Janakpuri West to Noida’s Botanic Garden Metro station.
