Tributes have been paid this week to Thames Valley Football Development League president, and stalwart Maidenhead United fan, Robin Woolman following his death. Maidenhead United released a statement this week saying the club was deeply saddened to learn of Robin's death following a short illness. He had been chairman of both the East Berkshire Football League and Thames Valley Sunday Football League, and a secretary at Southern League Beaconsfield Town. Club director, Steve Jinman, said: "Robin was a stalwart supporter of Maidenhead United as well as doing so much in local football, particularly at Beaconsfield. He was memorably always number one member of the old Maidenhead United members club and omnipresent at the AGM.
