The Tripoli Criminal Court has sentenced a man to death for the premeditated murder of citizen Mohammed Abu Bakr Ibrahim, after the Public Prosecution brought the accused before the judiciary and he was tried in accordance with Libyan law. The Public Prosecution said the court issued its final conviction and imposed the death penalty as retribution, emphasizing the enforcement of justice in cases of intentional killing. The ruling comes as part of efforts by judicial authorities to reinforce the rule of law and hold perpetrators of serious crimes accountable, according to the Attorney General Office.
