Gen. Cirilito E. Sobejana, JTF Sulu commander, said acting on a tip from a concerned individual, troops were able to seize the firearms at Sitio Kadkad, Barangay Pitogo, Calingalan Kaluang, Sulu at 7:30 p.m. yesterday. An ASG member identified as Apo Eting who is guarding the four M16 rifles and four M14 rifles hastily fled the area through a motorized banca upon sensing the troops’ presence.
