Raila Odinga, 72, is seeking to unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta, 55, in his fifth tilt at the presidency while their respective coalitions vie to win 1,880 seats in parliament, the senate and regional councils. People queued overnight to cast their votes and by 9am long lines stretched out of polling stations and around the block in most urban centres.
