(CNN) Tropical Storm Eta made landfall on the south-central coast of Cuba early Sunday and is predicted to bring a dangerous storm surge and life-threatening flash flooding to the country. And the tropical storm is expected to bring up to two feet of rain to portions of Cuba. By Sunday afternoon or evening, tropical storm conditions are expected to begin in South Florida and the Florida Keys. A tropical storm warning also is in effect for the Cayman Islands, portions of central Cuba and the northwestern Bahamas. A tropical storm warning is in effect for the Florida coast from Brevard/Volusia County line to Englewood, including Florida Bay, as well as Lake Okeechobee.
