(CNN) Tropical Storm Eta is lashing the Caribbean with torrential rainfall and damaging winds on Saturday as it approaches Cuba. The center of the storm is forecast to cross central Cuba Saturday evening and approach south Florida and the Florida Keys on Sunday. Hurricane and storm watches have been issued for south Florida and the Florida Keys by the hurricane center. "Tropical storm conditions are expected by late Sunday in the Florida Keys and along portions of the southeast Florida coast, where a tropical storm warning is in effect," the center said Saturday afternoon. The hurricane watch covers the coast of southern Florida from Deerfield Beach to Bonita Bay and for the Florida Keys from Ocean Reef to the Dry Tortugas, including Florida Bay and the Florida Keys.
