Two of the most corrupt criminals in recent history, Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu, just started an illegal war against Iran. One reason they launched their war today, I suspect, is because Congress was moving to force a vote prohibiting such a war … next week. I keep thinking about something Neil Gorsuch said in last November’s hearing on Trump’s illegal tariffs. What’s the reason to accept the notion that Congress can hand off the power to declare war to the President? Gorsuch got Trump’s own Solicitor General on the record that Congress can’t actually outsource its power to declare war to the President.
