High-ranking Justice Department officials accused a former CNN anchor of being part of a “criminal conspiracy” when a group of protesters stormed a Minnesota church Sunday where a local ICE official is a pastor. On his Instagram page, Lemon said he was at the Cities Church in St. Paul following the protesters as part of his journalism coverage. “The MAGA administration and the fake news MAGAs are losing their mind over something that’s not even true,” Lemon said. “I have no affiliation to that organization,’ he said, referring to Black Lives Matters Minnesota and other groups that organized the protest. ”I didn’t even know they were going to this church until we followed them there.
