Donald Trump Jr. traveled to Russia six times in an 18-month period, starting around 2006, to try to make deals. “Russia is one of the hottest places in the world for investment,” the senior Trump said in 2007. “I will tell you this, Russia: If you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Trump said. Trump stood by his warm words for Putin and Russia at his Wednesday news conference, even as he acknowledged that “I think it was Russia” that hacked the DNC emails.
