President Trump said Monday during a roundtable with law enforcement he’s going to discuss ideas to see how policing can be done in “a much more gentle fashion.”“We’re going to work and we’re going to talk about ideas, how we can do it better and how we can do it, if possible, in a much more gentle fashion,” the president said. Trump has waged an offense against Democrats using the “defund the police” movement in light of the death of George Floyd to demonstrate the party’s lurch to the left. “Sleepy Joe Biden and the Radical Left Democrats want to ‘DEFUND THE POLICE,’” Trump tweeted Sunday morning. “They're going to run over you, you're going to look like a bunch of jerks. “We’re doing it in Washington, D.C. We’re going to do something that people haven’t seen before.”
