NEW YORK, Dec 10, 2023 (BSS/TASS) - Former US President Donald Trump's possible win at the 2024 United States presidential election may result in the country's withdrawal from NATO, The New York Times reported. "That would be an enormous strategic and historic failure on the part of our nation." The New York Times pointed out that the majority of European countries are uncertain about the choice of a possible path in case of Trump's win at the US presidential election. The daily stated that smaller countries "are expected to try to buy their way into Mr. Trump's good graces by increasing their orders of American weapons or... by performing grand acts of adulation..."The United States holds a presidential election in November 2024. Trump announced his campaign for a presidential term in November 2022.
