Truro City boss John Askey was left "bitterly disappointed" following his side's National League Cup semi-final exit against Boreham Wood. When asked whether he thought the red card was the correct decision, Askey told BBC Radio Cornwall: "At the time, no. But, having said that, even after the red card, we've probably had the better chances, and to concede the first goal was really unlucky - [I'm] bitterly disappointed." Askey was later shown a red card for his protestations from the touchline about the decision. "Obviously, I was frustrated, angry, and that was the way I showed it and that warrants a sending off nowadays."
