Truro City boss John Askey praises efforts despite Altrincham loss

Truro City manager John Askey has praised his side efforts despite their 2-0 loss at Altrincham. "You couldn't knock the players for their effort, I thought the effort was there," Askey told BBC Radio Cornwall. Askey was particularly annoyed by the chances that his side missed, especially before Declan Howe's opener. On-loan Plymouth Argyle winger Freddie Issaka hit the post early on while Tyler Harvey also went close. "Having said that I don't think that's where the goals came from, but it just probably sums the season up really the game today."
