Tua Tagovailoa says the game ball he gave Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores last week was a token of gratitude. As he walked off the field after taking a knee on the final play, Tagovailoa presented the ball to Flores. “As a rookie, you don’t know what you don’t know,” Flores said. And while his NFL career is off to a good start, his perspective is different from before the hip injury. “I don’t know if I'll ever be my old self,” he said.
