The Republic of Türkiye has condemned the deadly terrorist attack on Woro and Nuku communities in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives and pledging continued support to Nigeria in its fight against terrorism. “Türkiye will continue to support Nigeria in its fight against terrorism,” the statement read. The attack left more than 75 residents dead, forcing the rest of the survivors to flee for their lives and abandon the community. He further revealed that several people were abducted during the attack including close relatives of the traditional ruler. “The wife of the village head, his mother and three of his children were among those taken away by the attackers,” Umar disclosed.
