Maureen Ihua-MaduenyiA Turkish Airlines flight on Tuesday lost a tyre upon landing at the Port Harcourt International Airport. The incident was said to have occurred at about 3:30am when the aircraft arrived in Port Harcourt from Instanbul. The incident reportedly occurred on the runway but the debris was cleared before domestic flight operations began for the day. A source within the airline confirmed the incident to The PUNCH, describing it as a glitch that had since been rectified. The source said there were no injuries to passengers and no property was damaged during the incident.
