Shipping agent Tuscor Lloyds has transported an over-dimensional piece of water treatment equipment from the UK to Liberia. The cargo weighed 3.5 tonnes and was transported on a 40-foot flat rack container from Tuscor Lloyds’ depot in Tilbury to the Freeport of Monrovia. The team from Tuscor Lloyds collaborated with specialists from APM Terminals for the complex import project. “Transporting machinery to emerging markets always makes for an interesting shipment but thanks to some fast thinking we were able to move this piece with ease,” said Luke Wrench, project manager for Tuscor Lloyds. Headquartered in Stafford, UK, Tuscor Lloyds handles large project cargo shipments and complex freight consignments across the globe.
