Two people are confirmed dead and two others remain missing after an underwater gas pipeline exploded when it was struck by a barge in the Port of Corpus Christi in south Texas, the Coast Guard said Saturday. Six other workers on the vessel were hospitalized following the Friday morning blast, which sent flames shooting hundreds of feet in the air. It forced the partial closure of the port as firefighters fought to get the blaze under control and rescuers searched for the four missing crew members.
