The arrests followed a fresh violent clash involving residents of Ifon, Ilobu and Erin-Osun, reportedly triggered by the lingering crisis. He disclosed that the state Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Gotan, coordinated a sustained, intelligence-driven operation that led to the arrests. He added that the operation led to the recovery of a single-barrel gun, a live cartridge and a cutlass. We also urge residents to cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and useful information,” Ojelabi added.
