Two booked for poaching wild boar


Forest department officials booked two persons for poaching, at Karnapet village of Dandepally mandal, Mancherial district. Based on a tip off about illegal hunting, cooking and consumption of a wild boar, the officials conducted raids in the village and confirmed the crime. Two persons Mariineni Bhumaiah and Guniganti Laxman were reportedly involved in the crime. They reportedly killed the pig using a electrical wire snare near a farm, and the meat and snare were recovered from their residences, a press note informed. The accused were produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
