At least two people have died in Jamalpur’s Melandah as two motorcycles collided head-on while returning home from a wedding party. The accident occurred around 2:00 am on Thursday in the Miarpara area of Melandah municipality, said Melandah Police Station chief (OC) Obaidur Rahman. Another motorcyclist named Sayem, 22, was injured in the accident and received treatment in the hospital. Locals rescued Kajal and took him to Melandah Hospital, where doctors sent him to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. Officer Obaidur said police recovered the body along with two bikes from the scene that night and brought them to the police station.
