The road was closed between the roundabout junction with Colliters Way, the A4174 South Bristol Link Road, on the edge of Bristol, and the B3130 turn-off for Nailsea at Flax Bourton. "Despite the efforts of emergency personnel on the scene, the drivers of both cars sadly died," the spokesperson said.
