MahinshaAccording to preliminary reports from the site of the accident, around 35 kilometres from the State capital, the granite piece fell on the workers as they were preparing to begin work for the day. Seven persons got trapped under the granite piece. Hareendran told TV channels that the quarry appeared to have been functioning without a licence.
