Two major residential projects appealedPlans for two major residential schemes, totalling almost 200 homes in Tullamore, have been appealed to An Bord Pleanála in bid to overturn their approval. In the two cases, Offaly County Council sought a large amount of further information from the developers before they garnered approval. Now, it's emerged that appeals have been lodged to An Bord Pleanála in bid to overturn the planning green light for both schemes. Meanwhile, Daingean Road Residents Association is behind the appeal of the Daingean Road, Cappincur project, involving a mix of houses, duplex and apartments earmarked for a site on the L2025. An Bord Pleanála is due to decide the fate of both projects by mid-October.
