Man jumped out of car and attacked woman in her 30s in broad daylight, say policeDetectives investigating the alleged murder of a woman have arrested two men. The woman, in her 30s, was stabbed to death in the street in Ewell, Surrey, at about 3pm on Friday. One man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and another on suspicion of assisting an offender, Surrey police said. Ch Insp Michael Hodder said: “This was a tragic and shocking incident in which a woman has lost her life after being attacked in broad daylight. At this stage we believe the victim and suspect are known to each other.”Police said the woman was attacked in London Road.
