Says terrorists were involved in several high-profile attacksPhoto: File/ AFPThe Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Wednesday killed two highly wanted terrorists linked to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in a successful intelligence-based operation in Tank district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P). According to a statement issued by the CTD, upon receiving information about the terrorists' presence in the area, the team launched an operation. During the operation, the terrorists, who were hiding, opened fire on the CTD team, resulting in a gunfight that lasted about 40 minutes. However, from the terrorists' possession, the CTD recovered two AK-47 rifles, six magazines, cartridges, and two bandoliers.
