Two workers were killed after they fell from higher floors of structures they were constructing in the city. Authorities say they receive up to four deaths a week out of accidents at construction sites in the city and have termed the trend alarming and uncalled for. The latest incident happened on December 10 in Parklands where 40-year-old Silvano Butembu fell from the fourth floor of a house under construction and died. Construction at the site was stopped as officials from the Nairobi County, National Construction Authority, and police among others investigate the accident. “We have seen a sad trend of accidents on these sites and we are looking into them.
