TOKYO—The U.S. military called off a search for five Marines missing off the coast of Japan, bringing total deaths from a Dec. 6 midair collision to six. One crew member from an F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet was rescued after it collided with a KC-130 Hercules tanker aircraft about 2 a.m. local time on Dec. 6. off southwestern Japan. The second, Capt. Jahmar Resilard, 28, of Miramar, Fla., was found but declared dead.
