Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) is finalising the budget to construct an RM80mil U-turn ramp along Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) to alleviate congestion around the Serdang Interchange. The proposed ramp will allow motorists travelling from Putrajaya to Puchong to bypass the Serdang Interchange and turn directly onto Jalan Putra Permai. The Serdang Interchange was opened to the public in 1999 and caters to motorists travelling from LDP to Seri Kembangan via Jalan Putra Permai. Seri Serdang assemblyman Abbas Salimi Che Adzmi@Azmi said two more projects were being planned to further alleviate congestion at the Serdang Interchange. “The traffic congestion at Serdang Interchange and Jalan Putra Permai happens as there is only one main road servicing nearby townships.
