Kenya, fourth-placed in Group A without a single win will now meet Group D's third-placed Sri Lanka in plate quarters. At the other end was Keagan Simmons blocking away and struggling for timing, eventually having his stay ended after scoring just 17. Kenya enjoyed a much improved performance from their pummeling by New Zealand, but dropped catches continued to hurt them. But if they were better with the ball, they were much worse with the bat. Yesterday, having made their way to 50/0, they collapsed and were all out for a paltry 96.
