Yesterday, January 19, 2018 the United Bank for Africa or UBA Liberia joined other other countries to officially launched the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) 2018 Application Drive in 22 countries. Mrs. Ketter called on the Liberian media to help in promoting the good services of Mr. Tony Elumelu through his foundation, noting, “The TEF believe the private sector holds the key to unlocking Africa’s economic potential. The 10-year, $100 million commitment to find, train, mentor and fund 10,000 African entrepreneurs by 2024; the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme Launched in 2015, the Entrepreneurship Programme is the largest African-funded initiative devoted to entrepreneurship. According to TEF, its goal is to To create 1,000,000 new jobs and contribute $10 billion in additional revenues across Africa within the 10- year commitment.
