About UCIThe United Commodities Incorporated has been a major rice trading entity in Liberia with a solid network of international and local partners since 2009. Founded in 2008, UCI is an international soft commodities trading company with its headquarters in Monrovia, the Liberian Capital. Rice trading has a worldwide volume in excess of 30 million tons a year. The company, in a statement issued said, this is a significant market as Africa imports some 3.3 million tons of brown sugar and 4.3 million tons of white sugar each year.
