Public Health Wales said a further eight people had died after testing positive for Covid-19, taking the total number of deaths to 1,456, while the total number of cases increased by 65 to 14,869. Northern Ireland's death toll increased by one to 542. - More than 600,000 UK workers, or 2.1 per cent, have lost their jobs amid the coronavirus lockdown, which began on March 24.
