The Met Office is warning that Sunday will bring more cold weather as temperatures across the country struggle to rise above freezing. It will be fine elsewhere but still cold after heavy snow fell in northern England on Friday and 'thundersnow' hit Scotland. Fairly cloudy with patchy rain over northern England, parts of Wales and the Midlands. Freezing fog patches developing over parts of Northern Ireland and eastern, southern and central England where some dense patches by dawn. Rain into eastern Scotland and eastern England later.
