Temperatures should remain over 30C for some parts of England for at least the next three days as 'Freedom Day' arrives for England. Highs of up to 32C are set to bathe London, parts of England's South and the Midlands later this week, the Met Office says. Highs of 31.6C were recorded at Heathrow and 30.2C in Cardiff on Sunday in the hottest day of the year for both England and Wales, according to the Met Office. Met Office meteorologist Tom Morgan added: "people are really going to feel the effects of the heat as we go through this week".
