Forecasters say fog and freezing fog will "persist and become more widespread" across a swathe of England from Monday evening and into Tuesday morning. The warning area and times could change. The Met Office said: "Fog and freezing fog will persist and become more widespread Monday evening, lasting into Tuesday morning. A rain warning is in place between 6pm on Monday and 9pm on Tuesday. Mostly dry across southern England but cold, with fog slow to clear.
