The weather warning is in place from midnight until 4pm on Sunday. There is a small chance of longer journey times or cancellations as road, rail, air and ferry services are affected. "There is a small chance that injuries could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties." While the weather warning is in place for West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria, it is understood the winds will be weaker in the west. Although the weather warning is only currently in place until 4pm on Sunday, it'll remain windy into the week.
