UK weather forecast UK: Storms and rain hit Super Saturday

Large parts of the UK will be overcast today, and a weather warning is in place on Sunday - with a 60mph 'weather bomb' set to hit. The Met Office says there will be rain today across Western England and Wales, but areas in the east will avoid the worst of the rainfall. In the South East, where it is expected to be cloudy but dry, the Met Office says. In the North East it will be slightly warmer, but could see some rain. The Midlands will see some drizzle, but will nevertheless be humid, while the South East will see some bright spells and highs of 20C.
