This ravaged road surface, which is riddled with dozens of potholes, is so rough that the council closed the road to traffic. People say it has got to be the most potholed in the country and I'd struggle to disagree. The road had been closed off, presumably because it is in such a state, but motorists were simply driving around the 'road closed' sign. There's more to do, but we're determined to turn things around and deliver visible improvements for Staffordshire residents."
