Mrs. Audrey Azoulay and her accompanying delegation visited historic Cairo, Saqqara and the pyramids of Giza, They were accompanied by Dr. Mostafa Waziriy Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities. In historic Cairo, they visited Al-Moez Street, the Sultan Qalawun Complex, the Sultan Barqouq Madrasa, and the Museum of Islamic Arts. In Saqqara, they visited Wahti tomb and the excavation work of the Egyptian archaeological mission working in the area. During the visit, the Director-General of UNESCO expressed her happiness, and her fascination with the ancient Egyptian civilization.
